Amanda Izen, M.A. CCC-SLP is a New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Amanda received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from university of Wisconsin-Madison and her Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from Hofstra University. Amanda specializes in working with children birth through five years, as well as early elementary students in the areas of expressive and receptive language and articulation. Amanda has received her level 1 training in PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) as well as PECS (picture exchange communication system). Amanda has been a part of the LWT team in NYC since September 2020. Amanda currently leads virtual live classes, virtual pre-recorded classes and does private speech/language therapy sessions (virtually and in-person).
