Mikayla Nelson
M.S., CCC-SLP
Mikayla, M.S., CCC-SLP., received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Boston University and her Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology and Human Development, with a minor in Linguistics, from Boston College. She has diverse clinical experience across a variety of settings, including Boston Children’s Hospital, public elementary school, and outpatient clinics. Mikayla has developed expertise in expressive and receptive language, speech sounds, social communication, stuttering, cognitive-communication, AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), feeding, and swallowing. Guided by the belief that “your child is capable of things no one can predict,” she strives to create a warm, supportive, and motivating environment for every child and family.
Mikayla leads group classes and does private speech-language therapy sessions (virtually and in-person).
