Emily Katz, M.S OTR/L, DIR-B is a registered and licensed occupational therapist in the state of New York. Emily received her bachelors from Binghamton University with a major in psychology and minor in health and wellness and earned a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from Stony Brook University.

Emily has worked with clients of all ages and stages of development in schools, sensory gyms and in their homes. In addition to leading classes at Look Who’s Talking, she works at an independent special education private school in Manhattan. Emily has extensive experience providing services in the Ayers Sensory Integration and DIR/Floortime frameworks. She combines neuroscience and play as her foundation to facilitate engaging, fun, and productive interactions. She is passionate about providing respect- based, developmentally appropriate services for all clients and creating a strong therapeutic relationship based using her client’s interests. Emily is currently certified in DIR/Floortime, Therapeutic Listening, and the SpIRit clinical reasoning tool. Emily has been a part of the LWT team in NYC since 2022.
